For those of you in the United States, I hope that you have had a happy Independence Day. Being our first in Columbus, my family spent last night watching the city fireworks and today with family enjoying time together. In between last night and this morning, I completed work on a small MarcEdit update to correct a known issue related to the Swap Field Function. Here’s the fix list:
- Bug Fix: Swap Field Function – when swapping data from a control field (fields < 10) to a variable field (fields >= 10) the program was replacing existing data when adding new elements to existing field data. This has been corrected.
- Enhancement: Delimited Text Translator – For UNIMARC users, when translating, you can select the LDR/008 global settings and change the 008 field to a 100.
Users with automated updates enabled will receive notifications through the application, otherwise, you can get the updates from:
- 32-bit: http://marcedit.reeset.net/software/MarcEdit_Setup.msi
- 64-bit: http://marcedit.reeset.net/software/MarcEdit_Setup64.msi
Again, happy 4th everyone.
