MarcEdit 7.7 Update

The update work for MarcEdit 7.7 has been completed and posted.

MarcEdit 7.7 has been posted to the website.  Additionally, on the download page,  you’ll find access to the MarcEdit 7 VPAT.  Information about the update:

Major Changes:

  • New Code Signing Certificate
  • Task List Control flow options
  • Compiled against NET 8

    Hi, Terry,

    I use Marcedit for several years and have noticed an issue with diacritics for certain languages such as French or German. The diacritics for these letters are displayed incorrectly, like ý. Last week, I have tried changing the setting of the app and Z39.50, using the 28591 character set, but the problem resurfaced after a week.
